Technically old now, I just forgot to update the journal here.

ALL NEW ARTS AND ETC. ARE LOCATED ON ! THAT IS MY ACTIVE ACCOUNT! There will be no new updates here, and I only check this account maybe once every one or two months, so if you have any questions or anything, please contact me at my active account.

Yeah, so I've gotten really sick of this acount. It just seems so cluttered and, I don't know, disgusting or something.

So, I've started a new account . I'm not moving into it quite yet, I still need to clean out my inbox, switch my watches over to that account, alert the clubs I'm in, etc. So, I'll post another journal when all is good and ready over there.

But this one is just to notify you that I AM NO LONGER GOING TO BE USING THIS ACCOUNT.


You know, another nice thing about this is that it eliminates all the watchers that don't even pay attention to my pics. Quite lovely, really.

Anyways, I shall hopefully not be filling my Calamari-San account with as much crappy art and such.

*sigh*

Okay, not in the best mood right now. It'll probably be gone in a day or two, so no need to throw in any concillations. Actually, no real need to comment or anything (not that you would anyways) because I just need to vent right now.

And that entire explanation doesn't really matter anyways because nobaody reads my bloody journals anyways. Whatever.

So, this stupid journal that no one will read is brought to nobaody in particular for the following reasons.

a) Everyone I know seems to have at least three boys and/or girls pursuing their affections, while I have, to date, zero.

b)Apparently my rp site that is one of my driving points that keeps me from going "what the hell is the point anyways" is "sue-ish."

c) Any story and/or character I make seems to be horribly cliched and I can barely ever bring myself to share it with anyone because I know it'll get shot down immediatly after. Which would be a problem if I ever came up with anything actually worth notice.

d) It seems the only thing I'm actually good at is making designing outfits. A bit far off from what I was hoping for in life satisfaction.

e) I have a tendancy to act stupid even though I'm not because I want people to notice me, and I know from experience that if I don't do something stupid then I'll just be ignored unless someone happens to glance at my sketchbook and say "cool" or something of the sort, which I then must respond back "Thank you" because when I'm not being stupid to entertain others and gain their attention, I am sickenly nice because I have no backbone.

f) I tend to like making fan characters, for no real reason, which rather connect to reason c because I can't make any good characters, just make them look pretty.

g) My art is a failure. I can draw one body type, in about three poses, which comes out mediocre. My coloring skills are pathetic. My talent is sparse, at best.


So, that's about it. Of course, since no one is going to read this, I don't have to tell you not to comment.

Whatever.

Edit: Okay, it's the next day, emo-ness gone! Actually, I have some pretty kick-ass still lifes and such from drawing class that I plan to upload later, if I can find a way to get them scanned in (we use big paper). I have to go now, though, because I need to do my laundry.

Laaaaaaaaters!

Two journal entries in two days. Wow.

Anyways, I'm sorta bored because I've got nothing to do until lunch starts. Which I really don't want to go to because a group of friends and I already went downtown and had some really bloody awesome Japanese food. And we still have five spring rolls leftover for tonight! Yayness!

Sooooo, tonight there's a Masquerade Dance, which should be fun, because the DJs don't suck here like they do at school. XD And I have a sexy outfit, too. But whatever.

So, I've got a whole splew of pictures planned for the next two weeks. I plan to get the next to pages of the comic I'm doing with :devericanni: done, then some fanart of my fav Jak characters, because I don't normally draw them (The Acherons, Jak, Erol, etc.), some concept designs for that big story I'm working on, and whatever gets assigned to me during class. Actually, I've decided to not keep my story a secret so much, because it could really only get better with crits and stuff from the public. Besides, it's starting to be pretty kickass, and I really just can't keep that stuff to myself.

There are going to be a few people that'll get a full outline of the plot to crit and stuff, :devericanni: of course, and ~Sparkleworks because she is my new awesome friend, too.

But, since I'm bored, I'll leak a few things out right now.

Okay, so the focus of the story is about the two competing empires, Oa, which is ruled by Dragons, or Drauikk, and the-yet-to-be-named Empire, ruled by Elves, or Aelver. They've been fighting for the past 5,000 years or so, and they absolutely despise each other. Anyways, the story focuses on Absinthe, who is the Imperial Princess (meaning she's the sister to the Empress, instead of the offspring of). But she's not Princess in the chliched, pampered, sheltered way. Princess is more of a political position than anything. They are expected to be tough, and often times are involved in the military, or some other such thing. (Actually, Absinthe eventually becomes a General, but that's 500 years or so after the story ends.)

Oh, and the Empires span about 500 to 300 planets, depending on whether there have been any succesful rebelions or if they conquered any new ones lately. Yes. There are dragons who fly spaceships and have giant space battles with elves, who are also in spaceships.

There's also a whole bunch of outer, nuetral planets or smaller empires. But Oa and the Aelver Empire are really the big players here. I've also made it my mission to include a bunch of the "lesser" fantasy races that you don't really see in fantasy novels, like nagas, harpies, demons, etc. I'm also making up a few, and I'm planning to find a few really obscure fantasy creatures to throw into the mix.

So, if all goes well and my writing doesn't suck and I don't get distracted, this is going to turn into a very kick-ass sci-fantasy novel.

Haha, sci-fantasy, I just came up with that. It makes sense, though, so I'm going to keep it.

Oh, and for general reference, I just call it Oa.


Ooo, and I'm going to my first Con in April. It's the Boston Anime Con. I plan on making a Seem cosplay outfit. Going to be seeeeexay!

Lovely Clubs For All

Well, I have half an hour before dinner (which is required. ) so I didn't really want to start anything like rping or anything quite yet, but it's the perfect amount of time to do a update in my journal.

So, anyways, a little blurb about teh art camp. It is probably the most awesome thing I have ever done (even though it's a ten minute walk to the dining hall from the dorms and it's really bloody hot here), and I love it here. There are a ton of awesome people, and even a few DA addicts, too. So, w00t w00t w00t to that. And I'm getting so much better at my art, too. But anyways, on to my main point of the journal.

I have decided to become a fashion designer, as opposed to my normal wanting to be a video game designer. That doesn't mean I'm not going to work on games. That's my ultimate childhood dream, so I'm definitely going to do that, no matter what.

But I finally realised that I'm practiclly made to do fashion design. It really just hit me when my drawing teacher said that my style of drawing people is the classic way that designers use, elongated and stuff. I didn't copy that style from anywhere, I just developed it without any real influence. And the most common compliment I get about my art is that my costume designs are amazing. And I've always wanted clothing like what I draw.

So I've decided that in college I will major in fashion design and minor in game design. :3

So, another continuation on this is that us fans are always seeing such awesome clothing and accesories in the games and animes and such that we watch. But you never see that sort of stuff unless you're really lucky or you spend hours searching the internet for it. So, I've decided my mission is to bring to you my video game and anime and such inspired designs to the general populace, so we can finally have goggles like Jak (my personal goal) or a kimono-esque jacket or some really kickass boots with buckles that don't even have a purpose.

This means I'm going to have to take sowing lessons though. XD Great, another thing to add to my all-to-busy schedule.

Well, I'll be back on later because I have a free schedule tonight. For the first time all week.
